Only one week until our trek up Kilimanjaro. I have mixed feeling of both excitement and trepidation. I am not concerned with the hiking or the terrain, but the altitude up to 19, 250 ft is rather daunting.
We leave on Christmas eve: Denver - Dulles - Dubai. We spend Christmas in Dubai. The next day we fly to Addis Ababa and on to Kilimanjaro.
